Jane Singleton

Chief Executive Officer

Jane is well known as a former journalist and presenter on ABC television and radio and SBS TV, and as director of a number of organisations in the corporate and community sectors. She was formerly manager of communications and public affairs at Family Planning NSW, and is a director of her own public affairs consultancy, Jane Singleton Pty Ltd. She sits on the Independent Complaints Review Panel for the ABC, and has been a director and chair of ChildFund Australia and has also served on the executive committee of ChildFund International and the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID).



Julie Wiltshire

Policy Officer

Julie is a public health and nursing professional with more than 18 years' experience in the management, development and implementation of reproductive health service delivery and community health projects.  Over the past 10 years she has lived and worked in Uganda, in a variety of positions as a manager, trainer, educator and service provider. Her most recent position was Country Director for Engenderhealth in Uganda. In this capacity, she oversaw a program to revitalize family planning services, improve prevention and treatment of obstetric fistula, and promote the integration of family planning services into HIV care and treatment services and training programs.


Alice Ruxton

Parliamentary Officer

 


Alice is studying for a Master of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development (Gender and Conflict) at ANU. She has a Bachelor of Arts/Social Sciences from the University of Queensland. She previously worked as a policy officer for a national advocacy organisation and volunteers with a local women’s rights group. Alice has lived and studied in Japan and has a particular interest in sexual and reproductive health issues in the Asia/Pacific.
